Called Boxer-6801-RAP, it “was designed with the aim of helping its customers modernise industrial set-ups, pairing advanced features such as multiple PoE LAN and NVMe storage support with both a PCIe and PCI slot for frame grabber, motion control and fieldbus card installation”, according to the company.
There is a choice of three processors: i3-1320PE, i5-1340PE or i7-1370PE.
The units have five 2.5Gbit/s Ethernet ports, two DB-9 ports for RS-232/422/485, one DB-15 port for 8bit digital I/O, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports and two USB 2.0 Type-A ports.
NVMe is supported by an internal M.2 2280 M-Key slot and there is also a 2.5in SATA drive bay, then there are slots for M.2 2230 E-Key, M.2 2280 M-Key, M.2 3052 B-Key, and a SIM card.
Amongst other connectors, there is HDMI for a display and one for an external antenna.
Operation is over -20 to 60°C, and power can be accepted at between 9 and 36V – a 19V 180W power adapter is an option, as are European, US or Japanese power cords.
It measures 264 x 179 x 124mm without brackets, which are available for wall mounting and DIN rails.
Mechanical specifications (with SSD) include random 3G(rms) 5 to 500Hz and, with wallmount, 50G @ wallmount, 11ms half-sine shock.
