Trifold unsold

Samsung is stopping selling its Trifold phone once stocks are sold out, reports Bloomberg.

The Trifold’s two hinges unfolded to deliver a ten inch screen.

High production costs and the recent 3-4x increase in memory cost contributed to the decision.



Won-Joon Choi, COO of Samsung’s mobile unit said recently that the company had not decided whether to produce a follow up to Z, referring to manufacturing complexity as an issue.
