Amphenol RF has introduced USCAR compliant Mini-FAKRA connectors into its portfolio of RF interconnect for vehicle designs.
This multi-port connector is available in a variety of PCB and cable-mount configurations including straight and right-angle single, dual and quad-port variations.
Mini-FAKRA can be used in a wide variety of automotive designs where high data transmission rates are required such as compute modules, wire harnesses, sensors and camera technology.
AUTOMATE Mini-FAKRA USCAR compliant connectors have undergone testing to simulate field performance for approximately 150,000 miles or 15 years, and environmental testing such as thermal shock, vibration and mechanical shock, temperature and humidity cycling, and high temperature exposure.
These off-the-shelf connectors are designed to be intermateable and interchangeable with all industry-standard Mini-FAKRA options and are typically used in wireless connectivity, infotainment, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), GPS and other autonomous applications.
