The development kit is designed for robotic applications in multiple industries from logistics to retail and agriculture to surgical assistance.

The compact system-on-module supports many generative AI models including all major LLMs and VLMs and Nvidia’s own VLA (Vision Language Action) model, Isaac Groot N1. It also runs the full Nvidia AI software stack, including Isaac CUDA-Accelerated libraries and AI models for robotics, Nvidia Metropolis for vision AI and Holoscan for sensor processing.

In addition to the Blackwell GPU, there is a 14-core Arm Neoverse-V3AE CPU and 128GB of memory, delivering up to 2070 FP4 TFLOPS of AI compute, running on 130W. I/O options include QSFP slot with four 25GbE, multi-GbE RJ45, USB ports and connectivity interfaces.

Richard Curtin, senior vice president of Innovation and Design Solutions at RS said: “Jetson AGX Thor represents a transformative leap in robotics and AI.” Referring to its AI performance and sensor capabilities, he continued that it “empowers developers to build highly sophisticated, real-time reasoning robotic systems that can see, think, and act with human-like intelligence. It’s a game-changer for industries looking to unlock new possibilities in humanoid robotics and physical AI”.

The distributor also offers a range of carrier boards, cameras, sensors, and other peripherals as well as AI and system software and bespoke design services.
