Verge Motorcycles has upgraded the battery in its TS Pro electric motorcycle to 20.2kWh to provide up to 217 miles of range, the company claims.
On top of this, the weight of the hub-less motor in the centre-less back wheel has been halved, but Donut Motor 2.0 continues to provide the same power and same 1kNm torque as its predecessor.
Total machine weight is 230kg and “the bike accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5s,” said the company.
It was unveiled at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan this morning.
“I’m proud of our team’s efforts in developing the updated Verge TS Pro,” said engineering v-p Krishna Kiran Mistry. “Their expertise and dedication are evident in everything, from challenging the original size of the hub-less motor to improving battery performance and delivering a better user experience through advanced display solutions.”
