“Built with high vibration resistance, the connectors’ rib design provides a secure fit when mating the plug and receptacle. When mated correctly, there is a clear tactile click,” said the company, adding: “The series passed the 2,000 Hz vibration test [and] it is a UL/C-UL standard-certified product.”
Called KW30, the contacts have two-point contact, and effective mating length of 0.7mm, and the “plug crimp contact has a box shape that does not easily get caught or deformed”, it continued.
Rating is 100V and -55 to +105°C.
Contact counts are:
- 2 – 15 for 800mA 32AWG contact types
- 2 – 15 for 1A 28 – 30AWG contact types
- 2 only for 3A 28AWG contact types
Contact resistance is 30mΩ and estimated life is 30 mating cycles.
Use is foreseen in office equipment, medical devices, home appliances and industrial robots. I
