The collaboration brings together OQ Technology’s Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite constellation with Eseye’s AnyNet Connectivity Hub, creating a unified ecosystem that bridges terrestrial and satellite networks through a single SIM solution.
This allows IoT devices to maintain continuous, reliable connectivity, even in the most remote and challenging environments where terrestrial networks are unavailable.
Leveraging the 3GPP Release 17 standard, this partnership extends multi-RAT (Radio Access Technology) connectivity to non-terrestrial networks (NTN), enabling IoT devices to automatically roam between cellular and satellite coverage.
“Our partnership with Eseye marks another significant step toward OQ Technology’s vision of making 5G IoT fully global,” said Omar Qaise, Founder and CEO of OQ Technology. “By integrating our 5G-ready LEO satellite constellation with Eseye’s intelligent connectivity platform, we enable seamless coverage everywhere on the planet, from remote deserts and offshore platforms to polar regions.”
OQ Technology’s LEO satellites operate in S-band spectrum and deliver low-latency, high-reliability connectivity designed specifically for IoT and machine-to-machine (M2M) applications. This satellite layer complements Eseye’s extensive terrestrial network partnerships, ensuring consistent, always-on data transmission across both infrastructures.
