Including a total of 105 models, PMM15, PMM20 and PMM30 are certified to the 3rd Edition of the IEC/EN/ANSI/AAMI ES 60601-1 medical safety standard and include 2xMOPP – two means of patient protection.
Clearance and creepage distance are 8mm, typical leakage current is 2µA and they offer 5kVac isolation voltage.
They are designed to work at up to 5,000m. “Many countries such as China or those in South America are bringing healthcare to populations based in mountainous regions, and it is very common in those countries for healthcare centres and hospitals to be located at altitudes higher than 3,000m,” according to the firm. “PMM15, PMM20 and PMM30 have been designed for 5,000m, and they also comply with the Chinese Safety Standard GB 4943.1-2011 requirement for operation at altitude.”
Input are either 2:1 or 4:1, with models in all three types available with 9-18, 18-36, 36-75, 9-36 or 18-75V supply ranges.
Output options are 5, 12, 15, 24, +/-5, +/-12 or +/-15V.
No minimum load is required and regulation from no-load to full-load is +/-0.2% on single output versions or +/-0.5% on dual output types.
Up to 90% efficiency is claimed and operation is over -40 to +105° ambient – derating may be needed if naturally convection cooled. Internal over-temperature protection is set at +115°C (case).

Supplied in a non-conductive black plastic housing and UL94-V0 silicon compound potting, PMM15 and PMM20 are 40.6 x 25.4 x 10.2mm and 24g, while PMM30 types are 50.8 x 25.4 x 10.2mm and 32g.
EMI specs EN55011, EN55032 and FCC Part 18, Class A are met without external components.

An on-of remote control pin is an option, with positive logic or negative logic, and the output voltage of single output versions can be adjusted by adding resistors to a trimming pin.
Applications are foreseen in home healthcare, ultrasound, assisted ventilation, infusion pumps and dental chairs.
