Impulse Embedded supplying Neousys SEMIL-2200GC series

Impulse Embedded, the Staffordshire  distributor and system integrator for rugged computer systems, is supplying the Neousys SEMIL-2200GC Series computer

Powered by Nvidia’s L4 Tensor Core GPU and paired  with Core processors, it is suitable for edge-deployed systems that process large amounts of sensor data locally, enabling faster threat detection, autonomous navigation, and sensor fusion without dependence on remote data centres.

The SEMIL-2200 Series is built to MIL-STD-461G and MIL-STD-810H standards. It is tested to endure continuous shock, vibration, humidity, and electromagnetic interference.

Its IP69K-rated enclosure ensures complete protection against dust, high-pressure water ingress, and corrosive environments, guaranteeing continuous operation.

“Our defence and industrial customers are being asked to do more at the edge, under tougher conditions, with less time to react,” says Impulse’s Stuart Martin, “by combining the NVIDIA L4 Tensor Core GPU with true military-grade ruggedisation, the Neousys SEMIL-2200GC enables real-time AI where it’s needed most: on the front line, in vehicles, and in remote infrastructure.”

The SEMIL-2200GC is specifically optimised for in-vehicle use, supporting wide-range DC power input (9V to 36V), ignition control, and compliance with MIL-STD-1275D power requirements.

Its fanless thermal design ensures silent, maintenance-free operation, even under heavy GPU loads, while M12 connectors and optional 10GbE networking provide secure, vibration-resistant connectivity for high-bandwidth sensor and camera systems.

Beyond vehicle deployments, the SEMIL-2200GC is equally reliable in fixed or remote installations. This includes deployment in naval vessels, coastal surveillance stations, airfield operations, and defence infrastructure, where systems must endure exposure to water, dust and corrosive elements.

The same rugged design also suits industrial, mining and energy applications, bringing real-time AI processing to outdoor and hazardous environments.
