Actions, such as extending rental contracts, requesting calibration and assigning assets to projects and cost centres, can be done online. Electro Rent says that the portal can safeguard against missing the end dates for contracts and increase efficiency by being able to locate equipment and relocate as necessary with minimal delays.
Customers can create, save and download reports and how data is viewed onscreen can be modified to suit specific requirements. they can add their owned assets for a full view of inventory. This will also help customers make well-informed decisions about testing activities, said David Briskman, chief information officer (CIO), Electro Rent.
The portal will be available to customers around the world and at no extra cost.
