The additions to its VITA 93 – QMC portfolio, will accelerate adoption of the new mezzanine standard, said Tews Technologies. The VITA 93 – QMC form factor addresses the aerospace and defence sector’s need for compact, scalable, and high-performance I/O under strict SWaP (size, weight and power) constraints. It allows developers to mix and match I/O functions on a single carrier, provide PCIe connectivity and a unified mechanical design.
The new additions to the portfolio are:
TQMC402 – a 4-channel isolated RS232/RS422/RS485 programmable serial interface,
TQMC500 with 20 isolated analogue inputs, simultaneous sampling,
TQMC601 – 32 isolated 15-60V digital inputs,
TQMC602 – 16 digital in, 16 digital out (0.3 A), isolated,
TQMC603 – 20 digital outputs (5-36V, 0.3A), isolated,
TQMC603 – 20 digital outputs (5-36 V, 0.3 A), isolated,
TQMC801 – 1000BASE-KX Ethernet (pictured),
TQMC802 – a 4-channel isolated CAN FD and
the TCPS210, claimed to be the first QMC carrier for CompactPCI-Serial systems.
All modules are designed to operate at industrial temperatures and are available in air-cooled and conduction-cooled variants.
The TCPS210 is a 3U carrier which supports three QMC sites and integrates a non-blocking PCIe switch to distribute host bandwidth efficiently across installed modules. The carrier is designed to support integration into conduction-cooled systems. An IPMC controller enables real-time QMC health status tracking and communication. For enhanced system monitoring, the carrier includes an IPMC controller, enabling real-time QMC health status tracking and seamless communication.
They are covered by a five-year standard warranty and long-term lifecycle support. Tews Technologies is a VITA Standards Ogranization member and plans to add further carriers for VPX and VNX+ as well as more QMC modules.
Tews will be exhibiting at Embedded World (10-12 March 2026) Hall 3, 3-371.
