Basically, it allows design teams to securely share board data across production and service. This is both internally and with contract manufacturers, using controlled, read-only access.
Test engineers can interrogate design data to investigate PCB assembly problems, without attaching to hardware.
XJBoardExplorer
XJBoardExplorer can import and parse schematic (PDF), layout (ODB++) and BOM (Excel/CSV) files. And it also supports opening XJTAG’s read-only XJPack file format.
The ODB++ parser is highly fault tolerant, says the company, capable of importing and displaying any viable project.
Also, it highlights, the ability to configure column assignment in the BOMs within XJBoardExplorer allows users to easily review information for analysis.
The XJTAG writes: “With XJTAG’s industry-leading combination of netlist, schematic and layout explorers integrated into a single easy-to-use tool, there is no faster and more powerful way to communicate and share detailed board information securely across every stage of the product lifecycle.”
