Engineers also scored 89% in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Numbers are from the Ipsos\u00a0Veracity Index, with which the IET worked.<\/p><div class=\"elect-post-content-2\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"elect-1924028339\"><div id=\"DFP-EW-InRead1-Mobile\">\r\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"> if ($(window).width() <= 768) { googletag.display('DFP-EW-InRead1-Mobile'); } <\/script>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div><div class=\"elect-test\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"elect-543763528\"><div id=\"DFP-EW-InRead1\">\r\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"> if ($(window).width() > 768) { googletag.display('DFP-EW-InRead1'); } <\/script>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<BR>\r\n<\/div>\n<p>Teachers and museum curators were also right up there, while politicians (12%), advertising executives (14%), government ministers (16%), estate agents (28%) and journalists (29%) languished at the bottom<br \/>\n&#8211; Electronics Weekly would like to know where that leaves us earnest (we claim) souls who write about engineering for a living&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s Ipsos Veracity Index survey was carried out by telephone on two waves of British adults aged 16+: 1,005 people between 19 and 26 October 2022, then 1,004 people between 26 October and 1 November.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Data are weighted to match the profile of the population.
