The significance of\u202fthe GE computer\u202fwas that it demonstrated the advantages of transistors over vacuum-tubes in\u202freducing the\u202fsize and power consumption of computers while increasing their reliability. What was a significant innovation to video moving pictures is now something that can be filmed and broadcast using the phone in your pocket. At its launch, it was a UK-only circulation newspaper. Then, the publication was printed in black and white initially. In addition to colour printing processes, the design and masthead have changed to reflect tastes.<\/p>\n<p>How to access news has also changed; today we provide online news, digital magazines and newsletters as well as (colour) print editions.
