It uses a proprietary co-packaging technology for photonics and electronics.<\/p><div class=\"elect-post-content-2\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" <\/script>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\n<p>CHIPX claims the devices form the basis of the first quantum computing platform that is both widely deployable and scalable to support 1 million qubits of quantum is already being used in industries such as aerospace, biomedicine and finance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAchieving co-packaging technology for photons and electronics, chip-level integration and wafer-scale \u2013 I believe this is a world first,\u201d says Jin Xianmin (pictured)) a physics professor at the university and founder of Turing Quantum. \u201cWe<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>anticipate developing chips capable of handling larger numbers of photons in the near future.\u201d he told mainland media on the day of the awards ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>The university said CHIPX\u2019s pilot production line is fully integrated,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>including design, wafer-level fabrication, packaging and testing through to system
