Who, singlehandedly, has had the most impact on our world? Well, my answer would be the English computer scientist, Sir Tim Berners-Lee. He is has now released a memoir, which catches my eye. Of course, he invented the World Wide Web while working at CERN and gave the protocol and code to the world, royalty free. Hence the book’s name.

How AI Thinks
This is a book that could be of interest to Gadget Master’s. It’s written by Nigel Toon, a man with a lot of electronics industry experience including around AI. I normally say ‘one to add to our virtual shelves’ but I am reading a physical copy from the library. And a good read it is too – interesting details as part of a smoothly moving narrative. Aimed at a general reader, it sets the historical context for the development of both computers and AI.
