Axon’ have been manufacturing high performance miniature connectors and complex cable assemblies since 1965 and the agreement signals a move by the company to develop new business within the motorsport market.
The Axon’ connector ranges are designed and manufactured for high-performance applications in demanding environments where reliability, low weight and ultra-compact dimensions are a pre-requisite.
Initial products to be offered will be the Micro and Nano connector ranges which can be enhanced using Axon’s cable design and manufacturing expertise to offer complete customised solutions if required.
- Micro-D Rectangular Connectors – designed for harsh environments. With 1.27 mm (.050ˮ) contact spacing, half the size of D-Sub connectors, are an excellent solution to save both space and weight.
- Fast-Locking Micro-D connectors – easy-to-mate connectors for restricted space applications. Axon’ Cable D-Click connectors are equipped with a fast-locking system which allows for easy mating and de-mating, with no tooling required.
- Micro Circular Connector range – with performance meeting MIL-DTL-83513 requirements, these tiny circular connectors feature easy-to-use connect and disconnect functionality. Designed with 360° shield termination, the Micro Circular connectors are suitable for harsh environments.
- Nano-D – designed for applications which require extreme miniaturisation, meeting the severe requirements of the MIL-DTL-32139 standard.
- Fast-Locking Nano-D – combine fast integration and extreme miniaturisation for tough environments.
- Power Miniature Connectors – offer ultra-fast connection, modularity, weight and space saving in a tiny package. The new range of Axon’s Versatys power connectors have been derived from the Micro-D technology and can be mated and locked in place without any tooling and in a single click. An ideal alternative solution to D-Sub connectors.
