CMT-PLA1BL12300MA
The 1200V / 300A Half-Bridge IGBT is rated for 450A continuous DC current (Tj=90°C) based on Trench Gate Field Stop (TG-FS) technology. And it is housed in the CPAK-EDC package with a copper baseplate.
The company highlights low saturation voltage and a continuous DC collector current up to 450A. Plus, optimised switching to minimise power dissipation. Operation is across the full junction temperature range from -40°C to +175°C (Tj).
The module is aimed at electric drive systems and industrial power conversion systems. Industrial applications, for example, could include UPS systems, motor and motion control solutions, and power supplies.
TG-FS
The company writes:
“The introduction of this new IGBT module strengthens the CISSOID portfolio with a solution available in the industry-standard CPAK-EDC package, delivering enhanced mechanical robustness and drop-in compatibility. This approach not only makes upgrades seamless but also adds greater design freedom, allowing system architects to balance performance and efficiency versus cost and mechanical integration more effectively.”
“Utilising advanced Trench Gate Field Stop (TG-FS) IGBT technology, the module delivers a superior balance between switching speed and conduction losses, with excellent short-circuit behaviour for robust operation under fault conditions. Its freewheeling diode provides very high surge capability, supporting demanding transient and overload events, while the module’s market-leading thermal conductance helps move heat out fast, boosting power density and extending lifetime margins.”
Specification
Saturation voltage:
